Pure Products Review Part 1

Pure Products Review Part 1

What is Pure? It is a brand of wellness products. There are so many brands of wellness products that it’s hard to choose which one to go with. That being said, this is the brand that I have continued to use for almost a year. I will review three products in this article Pure Products Review Part 1. Over the next several months, I will review all of the product that we use.

Additionally, I have changed my view of budgeting for wellness products. If you think about it, it’s smart to spend money to keep yourself healthy. I no longer feel guilty for spending money on consumable products that will help my family and me stay healthy. Because I think of it as grocery money and preventative prescriptions money, I would rather spend my money this way.

As I have zero medical background, I have no way of knowing if what they say is in the products is in the products. I can only go on what results I have had from personal experience and the research I have done. Also, I have also heard numerous testimonies from people who have consumed the Pure products.

General information

I wrote another article about how we became associated with Pure because I’m not typically one to begin using these kinds of brands, mainly because of the pushy people who sell them. But I’m glad I did.

In the future, I will also be writing about how one friend of ours uses many of the products, and he truly believes it has helped him keep his Diabetes under control. He eats right, exercises, and consumes Pure products. He is our “fish chef friend” in my article about my appendicitis experience.

I have used many of the products, as my husband bought a large bundle of products when he first began selling them. And, yes, at first, I was irritated that he bought such a large bundle.

However, thankfully, I was able to sample many of them and became hooked. Truly, I have loved every product I have used and have seen great results. Since I use many of the products, I will review three products an article over the next few months, in addition to this article Pure Products Review Part 1.

It is worth noting that all Pure products are organic and that people use Pure products for different reasons.

Energy~~product review

Energy is a caffeinated drink. I drink it in the mornings instead of coffee. It is a healthier way to start your day because it is alkaline, instead of acidic like coffee. However, if coffee is a must, coffee drinkers can drink Energy in the afternoon for a pick-me-up.

Energy is a powder that comes in a tub with one flavor or a bag with lots of little packs of different flavors. The tub is cheaper. It contains 120 mg of caffeine from natural sources. There are no artificial colors or sweeteners. There are 15 calories per serving. 30-day supply. pure products review part 1

There are many flavors, and they are all good. I recommend measuring 8 ounces of water and drinking it on ice. On the Pure website, it says that Energy is high in the B-vitamins which are useful for converting food into fuel. It also says that Energy is a blend of antioxidants and botanicals.

No sugar!

I used to drink Red Bull, then Spark. I like Energy because it contains no sugar.

360 Shake~~product review

The next product I really like is the 360 shake mix. It’s a powder that is full of vitamins, minerals, protein, carbohydrates, fat, and fiber. Also, according to their website, it also contains a potato extract and fiber blend that “helps the body control feelings of hunger.” The potato extract releases “Cholecystokinin which is a natural peptide in the stomach that induces feelings of fullness.” There is also a Protease Inhibitor 2 that helps reduce appetite.

Ironically, the day I wrote the first draft of this article, I ate a small lunch instead of my shake since it was a Saturday. With this topic on my brain that day, I noticed that I was hungry quicker than I am when I have the shake for lunch. Some of the ingredients in the shake curb your appetite as advertised. After a shake, yes, I usually am super hungry by 4 or 5 pm, but totally fine during the afternoon. I consume a shake for lunch on most weekdays.

The 360 shake product also contains some probiotics and enzymes to aid in digestion. The protein is from whey and peas. The flavors are vanilla and chocolate.

My shake recipe is 1 scoop of 360 shake powder, 1 cup of frozen fruit, 1 scoop of Pure Greens, 2 T of Mila, 1 cup of water, and a couple of ice cubes. I put all of that in the Nutribullet Magic Bullet and blend it together.

Metabolic ONE~~product review

The last product I will review is Metabolic One. As I get closer to age 50 and further away from age 40, I have noticed that my metabolism isn’t what it used to be. Growing up, I never dieted. (I can picture the exact college friends who may read this and are thinking that is the understatement of the year. Lol.) Also, I always played sports, but didn’t “exercise” outside of that. Like, I think I went walking four or five times in college. (Again, they are laughing at this if they read it, as even those low numbers may be exaggerated. Lol.)

I began regularly exercising after having my third child around 14 years ago, but I continued to eat whatever I wanted to. Luckily, I’ve never been a sweets eater (until I had an appendectomy and my taste buds briefly changed). I like salty food and ate what I wanted to eat. About two years ago, I noticed that my weight on the scales kept creeping up.

As I kept increasing and was about to hit another decade on the scales (that’s what I call the 10-pound increments, 120, 130, 140, etc) I slowly convinced myself that I could no longer eat whatever I wanted and expect to maintain my weight or by this point, lose any.

After I began using the Pure products, when I decided to do something about the weight creeping up, I began taking Metabolic One to help my metabolism. I also committed to reducing my caloric intake and exercising more. That’s also when I began to drink the shakes during the week for lunch.

According to Pure’s website, Metabolic One is a blend of amino acids, nutrients, herbs, and botanicals. It helps your body use insulin more effectively. The description boasts that it produces a calming effect, maintains healthy blood sugar levels, curbs appetite, fights fatigue in stressful situations, and contains a small amount of naturally occurring caffeine.

I take two before lunch every day.

Summary

My husband sells these products. He has always been into fitness and health. Like I said earlier, I first began using the products because he bought a large bundle of products when he began selling them, and I was irritated. The products were in my house, and we had paid for them, so I tried them.

However, I kept paying for and using the products because I love them.

The business side of Pure is also good because it is not as well-known as some of the bigger names, and people can get in early. This could cause you to potentially make more money when more people learn about Pure and sign up under you to sell the products as well.

As I’ve said in a previous post on how we became associated with Pure, I despise the pushy pyramid-ish side of most of these brands, including Pure, but honestly, I like these products so much that I don’t mind telling people about them and then people can make their own decisions.

This was Pure Products Review Part 1. I have also written an article called Pure Products Review Part 2. If you take Pure products and want to review them, let me know!
