How I Became Associated with Pure

How I became associated with Pure

Bundle?

Several years ago, my now ex-husband announced that he had ordered a “bundle” of wellness products. They would be coming in the mail in the next few days. I rolled my eyes, of course, and was actually “mad.”

When the products came in, I realized that this “bundle” probably cost a pretty large amount of money.

I then realized that, unknowingly, I was the catalyst for the “bundle” purchase. Ugh.

Here’s how I was the catalyst.

What kind of caffeine?

I like coffee but go in spurts as to what kind of morning caffeinated drink I want. I fluctuate between wanting a cold or hot drink. Several years ago, I was in a Red Bull phase, and my dentist who is a friend of ours said that Spark by Advocare was more healthy than Red Bull and that I should try it. He explained that Spark was an energy drink that people drink who would rather have a cold caffeinated drink rather than coffee.

So I began ordering Spark by Advocare from him. He wasn’t a big sales rep for them or anything, but he ordered it for us each month. Their family drank it, too, instead of coffee.

You sell what?

One time when I texted my dentist friend about ordering us another can of Spark, he said, “I will give you some Spark I have at the house, but I want you to try the same type of product in a brand that my wife is now selling.” She was selling Genesis Pure. I had never heard of it.

My first thought was….Runnnnnn.

Although all of the brands like these are great, the sales pitches drive me crazy. That is the truth.

I had never signed up to sell any of that because I personally don’t want to be forced or bothered by people selling stuff or to be perceived as the forcer or botherer.

Apparently, after they told my husband all about Pure, he not only ordered me some Energy (Pure’s version of Spark), but also ordered the “bundle.”

So, now that we had the “bundle”, I was stuck. I had to try the products.

You did what?

I had to try the products considering they were covering my dining room table, and we had bought them. I also found out that my husband had signed up to sell them because you get a better discount on the products if you pay the $25 and sign up as an IBO. Insert orange-faced cursing emoji.

So, in the beginning, I did watch a few videos to educate myself on the products that I was about to put into my body and asked a few of my friends if they were interested.

Fast forward a year. I love the products.

I haven’t pushed Pure much because again, I don’t want to be “that person” that people run from. Not to mention, I had no idea if I was trying to sell anything worth a darn. Being a realtor, I already have to be sales-oriented enough as it is. Also, not many people where I live know about Pure. The other brands similar to it have been around our area for a while.

I just know that I began to really like the products. I was glad we became associated with Pure.

Then a really cool thing happened.

You use them too?

I was validated when I walked into our “fish chef friends” beach house earlier this year, and I saw tons of Pure products on the counter. I almost fell out. We immediately began to discuss the products.

A couple of years ago, he was diagnosed with Diabetes. You would never have known he would be a Diabetic. But he was diagnosed. I will be doing an article on how he has been able to get off of some or all of his medicine. He watches his diet, exercises, and takes Pure products.

He is one of those people that wouldn’t just take something to take it. And, he doesn’t sell it. He truly believes the products are helping him. We are fellow Pure nerds.

In fact, the night before my symptoms of Appendicitis began, we were on the beach discussing the weight we had lost since taking the products and in general how good we felt. We use many of the same products, but each of us (my husband, fish chef, and I) also use different ones suited to our individual needs. We all talked about being happy that we became associated with Pure.

Future reviews on the products

So, sporadically over the next couple of months, I will talk about the products that I like and how I use them. I will write about a few products per post. If you are interested, of course, you can ask me some questions about Pure or the products. You could also become a Pure IBO for $25 and buy a “bundle” of products to get started yourself. Or, you could become a Pure IBO for $25 and just buy the products you want and get 25% off for being an IBO.

My husband deals with the selling side of the products. He recently returned from a Pure conference in Jacksonville where he learned even more about the products. He is a researcher and has always had an interest in health and fitness. You can also learn about Pure and the products on his Pure website.

I believe in these products, and the minute I don’t, I will take the articles off of my blog and quit using them. I am convinced the products contributed to my quick recovery after a ruptured appendix, and I’m glad we became associated with Pure.
